Result: Royal Foam created a distinctive stone architectural system for Tacora Massage using high-density polyurethane panels molded from real stone references and individually painted to achieve a natural stone appearance. Every panel was custom-sized to integrate seamlessly into the V-shaped sign, with additional panels used beneath the building's windows to carry the architectural language across the exterior.

Tacora Massage wanted to create a distinctive exterior identity that would make the establishment immediately recognizable while complementing the architecture of the building.The centerpiece was a unique V-shaped architectural sign incorporating faux stone panels.Rather than using a flat, repetitive cladding system, the project called for a stone appearance with authentic variation, texture and dimensional character.Royal Foam produced the panels using high-density polyurethane molded from real stone references. The molded surfaces captured the irregularities and character of natural stone, while painting allowed the finished panels to achieve the desired color variation and architectural appearance.The project was further extended with additional custom stone panels beneath the building's windows.The client needed:

The V-shaped sign presented a unique fabrication challenge.The geometry was not a simple rectangle, and the individual panel locations required different dimensions.There was no practical one-size-fits-all panel solution.At the same time, the stone appearance needed to remain visually consistent even though the panels themselves varied considerably in size.

Real Stone-Inspired Molds
Rather than attempting to simulate stone using a textured coating over an EPS core, Royal Foam's process begins with the actual stone appearance.Molds were created using real stone references to capture:

This creates a three-dimensional stone surface directly in the panel.

High-Density Polyurethane Panels

Custom Panel Sizes

Construction
